For more than 34 years, Club Esteem has remained committed to empowering youth across Brevard County through education, mentorship, and opportunity. We are proud to share our 2024–2025 Organization Fact Sheet, highlighting the impact our students, families, staff, volunteers, and community partners continue to make together.
Since 1991, Club Esteem has served more than 4,000 students through programs focused on academic achievement, character development, college and career readiness, and life skills education. Today, we currently serve 180 students from more than 20 schools throughout Brevard County.
Meeting the Need in Our Community
A child’s zip code and household income remain among the strongest predictors of academic success—but they do not have to define a child’s future. In Brevard County, 15% of children live in poverty, and educational disparities continue to affect underserved communities.
Club Esteem exists to help close those gaps.
Our programs provide students with consistent academic support, caring mentors, enrichment opportunities, and pathways to higher education and career success. Every day, we work to ensure students have the tools, encouragement, and resources they need to thrive.
Academic Excellence and Student Success
The results highlighted in this year’s fact sheet demonstrate what is possible when students are supported academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Outcomes Include:
- 100% high school graduation rate
- 90% of students matriculate into college
- 100% college graduation rate among enrolled students within 4–6 years
- 90% of high school students maintain a 3.0 GPA
- 80% of high school students make the honor roll
- 88% of Club Esteem Black third graders read on grade level, compared to 43% countywide
These outcomes reflect the dedication of our students and the collective efforts of educators, mentors, tutors, families, and community supporters.
Programs That Create Pathways
Club Esteem offers a wide range of programs designed to support students from elementary school through post-secondary preparation. These include:
- Academic tutoring and enrichment
- Reading intervention programs
- STEM learning opportunities
- Mentorship and leadership development
- ACT/SAT test preparation
- College and scholarship application support

Our eight-week summer program also helps students strengthen reading and math skills while preventing summer learning loss.
Supporting the Whole Student
The students we serve often face significant barriers outside the classroom:
- 100% come from low-income households
- 97% come from single-parent households
- 27% are in foster care, homeless, or living with relatives
- 25% have diagnosed learning disabilities, including ADHD, autism, dyslexia, or ODD
Despite these challenges, our students continue to excel because of their resilience and the strong support systems built around them.
Responsible Stewardship and Community Partnership
Club Esteem remains committed to financial transparency and maximizing impact. According to our 2024–2025 financial summary:
- 84% of expenses directly support programs
- Only 13% supports administration
- 3% supports fundraising efforts
We are also proud to partner with organizations such as United Way Space Coast, whose support helps expand opportunities for local youth.
Looking Ahead
Every statistic in this fact sheet represents a young person with dreams, potential, and a future worth investing in. Whether through tutoring, mentorship, college preparation, or life skills development, Club Esteem remains dedicated to helping students succeed in school and in life.
We are grateful to our volunteers, donors, educators, families, and community partners who continue to stand beside our students and make this work possible.
