Club Esteem has received a $1,000 Neighborhood Grant from The Starbucks Foundation, recognizing its work to support low-income and underserved families in the Brevard County area.
The grant was a result of a nomination(s) from a local Starbucks partner (employee) who has seen the organization’s impact firsthand. Through the Neighborhood Grants program, The Starbucks Foundation invites partner-led nominations and considers insights from Starbucks partners to award grants to nonprofits and charities making a meaningful difference in the communities they serve. This is Club Esteem’s second year receiving this grant.
Club Esteem has been making a difference in Brevard County for over 30 years. Our programs offer disadvantaged youth resources, opportunities and support they wouldn’t otherwise have access to.
Since 2019, The Starbucks Foundation has awarded more than 19,000 grants totaling over $30 million across North America. In Central Florida, Neighborhood Grants are one way Starbucks demonstrates how local partnerships between Starbucks partners, customers and nonprofits are strengthening communities.The Starbucks Foundation ’s Neighborhood Grants program supports grassroots, community-led nonprofit organizations making a difference in their community. With Starbucks partners leading the way, Starbucks helps strengthen communities it serves. Neighborhood Grants also help deepen local impact and inspire ongoing partner engagement with nonprofit organizations and charities that work in their communities.
