On December 5th, Club Esteem hosted its annual Mingle Bell Rock fundraiser at the beloved Yellow Dog Cafe, bringing together supporters, community partners, and local philanthropists for an unforgettable evening filled with holiday spirit and generosity. This festive celebration underscored why Club Esteem remains a vitally important and impactful educational nonprofit in Melbourne, FL, dedicated to changing lives through education and youth development.
A Festive Evening with Purpose
Guests were treated to live music by Club Esteem alum Dorian “DJ C” and vocalist Jamalia Scott, whose soulful renditions of Christmas favorites set a joyful tone. Attendees enjoyed delectable hors d’oeuvres and drinks generously provided by Yellow Dog Cafe. The evening featured a bustling silent auction and the warmth of shared stories. Two inspiring Club Esteem alumni—Juston Simon and Breeona Peavey—spoke about how Club Esteem shaped their journeys, reminding guests of the profound importance of supporting low-income student education.
The Giving Tree and a Community United
The Giving Tree was a centerpiece of the night. Guests made heartfelt contributions and placed ornaments on the tree, symbolizing their commitment to breaking the cycle of poverty for youth in underserved neighborhoods. Every donor received a handcrafted ornament created by Club Esteem students—keepsakes that captured the spirit of giving. In true holiday tradition, attendees also brought gifts for our annual toy drive, helping spread joy to children who might otherwise go without.
