Time

TUTOR/HOMEWORK HELP

Tutors play a crucial role in supporting the academic success of Club Esteem members in grades 1-12. Tutors may choose the subject and the age range of students they would like to tutor.  Tutors must be teens 14 and older or adults.  Weekly tutoring sessions are Monday-Thursday 3:30- 4:30 PM, 4:30- 5:30 PM, 5:30- 6:30 PM and Friday as needed.  *One session per week commitment for a minimum of 3 months is preferred.

MENTOR

Mentors establish a one on one relationship with Club Esteem students in grades 1-12.  Mentors meet with their students weekly or bi-weekly to support them in achieving  their academic and personal goals. Mentoring hours are Mon-Thur from 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM or Fri from 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM.

ENRICHMENT CLASS INSTRUCTORS

These volunteers lead Club Esteem’s enrichment classes/workshops such as: dance, art, creative writing, computer skills, financial literacy, health and nutrition, manners & etiquette, sewing, etc. Enrichment classes are typically offered in 4, 6, or 8 week sessions.  Days and times to be determined.

SAT COLLEGE PREP

Volunteers are needed to assist high school students with SAT College Prep using provided materials and practice tests.

GUEST SPEAKERS

Guest speakers present one time or multi-class seminars to students and/or parents on a topic of their choice such as  positive life choices, goal setting, character development, professional journey, financial literacy, wellness, etc.  Days and times to be determined.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Volunteers are needed for special events such as Trash Bash, Harvest Fest, Holiday Party, Gifts from the Heart, Bingo Madness, Tribute to Excellence and more.

Event Sponsorship

Event Sponsorship is a great way to support Club Esteem and publicize your commitment to the community while participating in Club Esteem’s signature fundraising events: Rock the Casbah, Brevard Fantasy Football, and Tribute To Excellence.

Planned Giving

Create a legacy and change the lives of economically disadvantaged youth by including a gift to Club Esteem in your trust and estate plans. Gifts of cash, annuities, property, stocks, and other assets may be made directly to Club Esteem or to the Club Esteem Endowment Fund at the Community Foundation of Brevard. WISH LIST

Make a difference in the lives of economically disadvantaged children and teens by donating some much needed supplies to Club Esteem.

FURNITURE CAMPAIGN

Volunteers are needed to help CE replace 15+ yr. old furniture and equipment  (tables, chairs, shelving, storage benches, computers, etc.) by securing donations of gently used items from businesses or by  fundraising so Items can be purchased.

FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE

Community members are welcome to participate in Club Esteem’s Fund Development Committee which holds annual events such as Rock the Casbah, Brevard Fantasy Football and more.
